7TH GRADE STUDENTS: DC Field Trip Permission slips due by May 11th!
8TH GRADE PARENTS: As we finish Romeo and Juliet, many students have had great questions about suicide and why both characters would choose that as their only solution. On Monday, April 30th, our school psychologist Jennifer Lage and I will be teaching a lesson about the issue of suicide in our modern world and how it relates to Romeo and Juliet. We know this may be a sensitive subject for some, so we will be advocating for students to talk with our guidance counselors if they have any questions and to talk with you about what we discussed. If you have any questions about what we will be discussing, please do not hesitate to email me at haley_miller@hcpss.org.
